Storytelling has always been the thread connecting everything I create.
I’m a filmmaker, composer, and music producer based in British Columbia, working across film, television, documentary, and commercial media. My work focuses on creating emotionally immersive experiences through the fusion of visual storytelling and sound.
My creative journey began with a deep fascination for music and cinema as emotional languages. I was drawn to how sound and imagery can shape atmosphere, evoke memory, and tell stories beyond words. That curiosity led me to study Digital Video and Film at the Art Institute of Vancouver, where I developed the technical and creative foundation that would shape my career.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects as a cinematographer, editor, sound designer, and composer. My work has screened internationally at festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, DOXA Documentary Film Festival, and Sikh International Film Festival in New York, and has aired on national broadcast platforms including CBC and TELUS.

Music & EMPWER
Music has always been one of the strongest pillars of my creative identity.
Under my artist and producer moniker EMPWER (pronounced Empower), I produce cinematic and emotionally driven music that blends modern production with atmospheric and culturally inspired sonic textures. I’ve collaborated with artists around the world, produced multiple albums, and composed original scores for film and television.
My scoring work includes composing music for a feature-length documentary broadcast on CBC, along with sync placements in episodic television. Whether I’m producing for artists or creating music for visual storytelling, I approach sound as a powerful narrative tool that helps shape emotional tone and audience connection.

Working across multiple disciplines allows me to approach storytelling from a broader perspective. My background in cinematography, editing, sound design, and music composition gives me the ability to craft unique and compelling experiences.
I’m drawn to projects that prioritize strong storytelling, emotional depth, and immersive audio-visual experiences. My work often blends cinematic visual language with layered sound design and musical storytelling to create cohesive and impactful narratives.
I believe some of the most powerful storytelling happens when visual and sonic elements are developed together rather than separately. That integration continues to shape how I collaborate, produce, edit, and compose.
